Completely interactive story telling and puzzle game with a chilling conclusion. Never an unfair puzzle but it is challenging to put the pieces together.

Im very disappointed with this purchase. I wish I could get a refund. I just played 2 chapters and have no motivation to play further. The game is puzzles in mostly text with annoying audio tracks that you have to play in order to get the clues. Worst is the text is oriented all different directions for no reason and you continually have to reposition your iPad/iPhone in order to read the text.
This is probably the best game on the AppStore for anybody, I often like sports ga,Es such as madden but I found this game very amusing. You may ask the question is it worth 4 dollars? Yes I would say yes. I would even pay 10 dollars for such a well made and put together game. Not only is it fun the author is also great. It almost feels and if your living a well written thriller book. I would say this game is for ages 10 ip it swear multiple times and can often be scary for younger children but other than that it is completely appropriate.
Love this game. Anymore like it?Way too short...will there be an update soon with more chapters??
Engaging game. Superlative design. Puzzles sometimes too clever.
I dont say "amazing" lightly. I was literally amazed by this game. It boggled my mind with its stupenditude! It was the most intriguing game Ive yet played on my iPod. I couldnt recommend it more.
Very creative and brilliant
2 chapters done, keeps me enough interested to keep going, but not very exciting
I seriously am amazed. This game blew me away as the puzzles werent super hard but they were hard enough. I got to spend lots of time with my friends being immersed in the absurdity and mysterious qualities of the storyline. There is original music, and an original idea, and just... Wow. Id pay more for this game.
I have never seen a game like this! Im sure lots of time and effort had to be put into it. Intresting and is right in between Easy Peasy and Rage Quit. Great mystery game!
It isnt a game, theres no point or catch to draw you in
Its boring, all you do is read like 2 pages (not a book)
Made me feel good
Part book, part game, all fun! This app is like an interactive version of House of Leaves, if HoL also had a great soundtrack and actually required readers to solve its puzzles. I just started playing this game, but Im already dreading the end.
Brilliant Artistic Haunting Puzzle Story, but way too short/needs sequel or updates. If the game was longer, or if they had offered updates to paying customers which add further content, then I would rate it 5. They surely have made a fortune on this game and should have done that by now. Introverted artistic types with a fairly good intellect will love this game. I highly recommend it, but only if you match that description. I stress again that you need to be a fairly intelligent person. This is not for someone with an average or below average IQ, or someone who likes smash and grab games, point and shoot games, or sports games. It also isnt for anyone who doesnt appreciate art. The developers should explain that here in the App Store description. Out of the roughly 50 top reviewed games Ive tried, this is by far the best game Ive played on iPhone, with "The Room" series being the only game that can compare. I highly recommend this game if you like escaping into a surreal artistic world of feeling, sound, visuals, and story, and solving some puzzles along the way. The sound affects, music, and visuals in this game have a poignant, haunting, very enjoyable affect. It took me 8 hours total to beat it and I had to look up just one solution online. Im told that I have a brilliant mind and a high IQ... So I cant imagine how anyone beat this in a couple of hours. You would need to be a rare genius. A hint - the puzzles often have nothing to do with the story text. Im just letting you know that the answer usually isnt hidden in the story. Its more based on the little puzzle pieces at face value. There are walk throughs you can find online if you get stuck. This game loses a star because 1. It is way too short, and 2. They havent made any sequel or given updates adding more content levels to this existing game. They instead made a short and simplistic game, and took their money and ran. Theyve made a fortune on this thing for minimal effort, trust me. I also want to add here that I loved this game so much that I tried another of their games, "Year Walk", but I find myself completely unable to progress in that game. I solved a few puzzle steps, but now, Im clueless as to what is next or what Im supposed to do. I can find no meaning to the symbols on the trees. The Year Walk Companion app also has a code you need to enter and Ive no clue where this code comes from. The Year walk game is also a maze and very difficult to remember your way around. You would need an incredible intellect to map it in your head. ... Im not going to draw the map on paper. I feel I wasted my money. All said, Device6 is a highly recommended masterpiece, and only loses a star because of how short it is and the lack of follow up updates/expansions/sequels by the developer. 99% of the games on the App Store, I rate 1 star. Even the top rated editors choose games are absolute junk, scam rip off ad dump apps. I consider all those developers to be extremely unethical and am shocked and dismayed to see gamers rating them over 1 star. So a 4 star rating from me is an extremely high praise.

Although Im sad that its over, Im so proud of myself for sticking to it and going back and forth. I didnt think to "look up answers." I encourage you to go back, take notes, and push more buttons! Its so rewarding to finish without help. To those saying its impossible: Ill admit it was tedious at some points and my head started to hurt... but once you take a break to get fresh eyes and change up your thinking, it is possible. Now what?
Its hard to imagine this game being better than it currently is.
Honestly one of the best games Ive ever played on the IPad. The visual novel aspect is gorgeous, and the mood is tense enough to keep you hooked. The puzzles are all at a good difficulty, and the plot is confusing enough to warrant multiple playthroughs. 10/10 Would love a sequel.
Really smooth visuals, graphics, and sound design. Its a very polished game with intuitive controls, decently challenging puzzles, and an obscure storyline. If youve read House of Leaves and enjoyed that book, youll love this game.
