A stylish interactive puzzle story

A perfectly designed interactive book of puzzles.

Very original but lacked closure

I agree with all the reviews I read, good and bad. I think this is either your kind of game or it isnt. Its cutting edge and artistic, like an interactive short story. It has the creepy factor for sure and felt like a weird nightmare I was glad I could just switch off. However, the ending wasnt very satisfying for me, probably because I didnt get it, and lacked any real explanation. I know the multi directional text was all a part of the effect, but I was annoyed by having to constantly turn my device. It was particularly irritating when backing up to analyze clues to the puzzles. I had to cheat a lot to get through it, but I took solace in the fact that I was usually on the right track. I cant say I liked it, but I think it was just not my thing, not any fault of the game itself.

If a Pulp Fiction Book were a video game

Ive never payed anything like it. Imagine if a book was a game. It also manages to have a very interesting storyline, one that addresses the very nature of games, novels, and other stories. If you like pulp fiction books, mysteries, electric sheep, screaming dolls, paintings of oranges and being lost in a world not-quite-right, then initiate start up protocol.

One of the best games of all time

Until now, I always thought phone games were timewasters and nothing else. I was wrong. I was fully immersed in this game in the way i am with only my favourite video games (Portal, Bioshock Infinite, Alan Wake), and its on a freaking phone. This is the kind of game people think of when they say video games can also be a form of art.

App size totally wrong.

Shows only 140MBs, app is actually 770MB. Kind of a big deal.

Great Game

That ending though...

Very nice

I love the music ~

Such a great and unique experience

I really like the uniqueness of Simogos games. This one was a little dark, but it brings together the fun of reading a book, with exploring puzzles and mazes. Very cool and a great escape. More please!!!!!!!!!

What mobile should be

Device 6 is of the best use of a mobile device ever. It has an amazing design and mechanics that boggle with your mind. Truly smart puzzle design. Combined with a great story and surreal themes, this deserves to be compared with big AAA GAMES OUT THERE

Device 6

This game is very interesting, but very hard! I had to use online walkthroughs because it was so confusing! The only chapter that I managed to finish by myself was Chapter 2, my favourite chapter. The story was interesting, the puzzles only made sense occasionally, and the ending didnt make any sense at all! This is a very odd and unusual game, but if you are up for it, then it is definitely something youd find to enjoy.

Mind-bending

This masterpiece twists your brain and makes you think outside of the box. The strange environments and interesting gameplay chill you with a certain claustrophobic atmosphere while still being able to feel free. You cant really not play this game if you have an IPhone.

5 Stars from me!

This game is amazing! I highly recommend this to people that love watching Sherlock Holmes or if you love problem solving! Although I do not recommend this to children under 10 years old due to the creepy factor. I loved the epilogue! It gave me goose bumps! If you dont understand the ending then I recommend that you go online and look up the meaning! Please make a part two to this game! This is by far my favourite game! I loved the format and the videos in the app! It was outstanding. However I do not suggest that you watch or search a walkthrough because it will take away the fun of it. My favourite chapter was the second one! It was a m a z i n g! If you do not enjoy problem solving and looking for clues do not bye this app. I loved this game so much that I sat in the same spot for 3 hours so I could finish the game ! Please make a part two I would definitely buy it! It was worth the money for me!

Too difficult

This game is clever and creative but is inconsistent in its presentation. Story elements are too light at first and dont pay off properly. The games various puzzles vary from easy to perfectly enticing to too difficult for my personal tastes. The game looks wonderful although it begins to all feel the same by the end. Some mechanics are interesting while others simply feel like mediocre gimmicks. The Device 6 is an okay puzzle game but it is far from greatness.

Absolutely Delightful!

Extremely engaging and a delight for text and puzzle based game lovers

Like a good book youll never get to finish

The concept is really clever and the execution even feels well polished. Its a neat experience. Too bad Ive been stuck at the entrance to the lighthouse for several years now and Ive pretty much given up hope, so its a story about a person who gets caught up in a mysterious situation and then gets stranded. The end. Unfortunately the puzzle Im at world require years of brute force cracking via a frustrating and noisy interface and even at that it yields nothing.

The Best Game Ever

This game is so clever and interesting I cannot start to explain.

It took a little while for my brain to get into the same gear as the app designers, but once I started listening carefully for clues (and keeping notes!), the rhythm came quickly. Great work!

Just my style

I would love to see a sequel or a spiritual successor.

Amazing Game

This game was just the right amount of creepy and satisfying. By the end, I was shocked and had goosebumps. One of the best story games Ive ever played. Hoping for a sequel and wish it was a little longer. But overall, an amazing game!

They loved making this game

You can tell from the quality and craftsman/womanship that was put into this game that the developers loved what they were doing. Myself, I loved it too. The puzzles were difficult and clever, and it was a unique way to tell a story. You should all be proud of yourselves for making something worthwhile. Re-playability is non-existent. A puzzle solved remains solved. However, its worth the money just for the once through. Thanks for making this game!
